TEARS FOR FEARS - THE TIPPING POINT (INDIE EXCL. LP) The Tipping Point is an upcoming album by English pop-rock band Tears for Fears to be released on 25 February 2022. It is the seventh studio album by the band, and their first since Everybody Loves a Happy Ending nearly eighteen years prior. Tracks on the album include "The Tipping Point", which was released with a music video in October 2021, as well as "My Demons", "Please Be Happy", and "Stay"] "Stay" was previously released on the group's 2017 compilation Rule the World: The Greatest Hits. Some lyrics were inspired by the death of Roland Orzabal’s wife in 2017. The creation of the album proved difficult for Orzabal and Curt Smith, who walked away from the project mid-way through recording, telling his bandmate, "Look, if this is what you want to do, then you go ahead and do it, but it’s not for me." However, they later reconvened and "plotted a path forward of how we could finish an album that we were both happy with".[4]
